Treatments

For centuries, the Chinese have used Traditional Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, and massage to help the body correct imbalances that are the cause of illness and disease. Sen provides professional consultation, diagnosis and treatment to help you address your health problems.

Sen’s Practitioners provide examination and diagnosis on a broad range of health conditions.
Sen’s Practitioners are among the best available in the UK and our facilities and treatment rooms are designed to the highest standards for your comfort.

How to book:

Consultation

Our consultation is based on a Tongue & Pulse diagnosis, since most basic movements can be observed in any of nine fundamental positions on each wrist and different areas of the tongue.
The pulse at the wrist reflect the state of energy in the body and mind.
The tongue reflects the health of the different organ systems. If there is an unusual colour, coating, and/or shape in a certain area, special attention is paid to the corresponding organ system.
This is the first step to identify the right way to your personal equilibrium.

Acupressure

Acupressure is a form of massage which involves applying gentle pressure with the fingers at specific points along the body’s meridians or energy channels.
Acupressure can be enjoyed as a treat or it can also be used to aid specific problems such as headaches, low back pain and sciatica. It is also excellent for stress release.
A study published in the International Journal of Nursing Studies entitled “Acupressure and Quality of Sleep” shows the effectiveness of acupressure on sleep quality. Many people suffering from insomnia seek relief through medications, which can have side effects; there are no such risks with acupressure.

Anti−Ageing

According to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, wrinkles begin internally from weaknesses and imbalances of energy flow.
Cosmetic Acupuncture is an effective, non−surgical, non−chemical anti−ageing treatment in order to increase energy circulation and stimulate collagen production.
Facial Acupressure is designed to stimulate key nerves and muscle fibres deep within the skin’s layers to boost natural collagen production.
A Sen Masseur will manipulate key pressure points on the jaw, forehead and temple areas, resulting in firmer looking skin and reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture literally means “needle piercing” the practice of inserting very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific anatomical points in the body (‘acupoints’) for therapeutic
purposes. The acupoints are stimulated to balance the movement of energy in the body to restore health.
According to the World Health Organization, Acupuncture is an efficient therapy for stress and pain relief (neck, low back, knee, headache), to help people overcome addictions (e.g.
smoking, alcohol dependence), to lose weight and fight infertility.

Reflexology

Foot Reflexology is a simple, non−invasive method to help balance the body. It is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet which correspond to every part of the body. A Reflexology treatment uses pressure massage on particular areas of the feet to stimulate healing in the organs, glands and structures.
Many associations and organizations promote and support the work of Reflexologists since it is relaxing, digestive and helps release stress. It can also offer relief from many conditions including: childbirth, period pain, insomnia, water retention and migraines.

Additional Therapies

Our Practitioners further offer a great range of additional therapies, such as Hand Massage, Ear Candle, Cupping, Moxibustion and Herbal Remedy.
For instance, cupping therapy is a safe, painless, and non−invasive technique; cups are placed over the skin and flesh is sucked into the cup either with suction, or by warming the cup and reducing air pressure. It is used to treat muscle pain, drain excess toxins and stubborn knots in soft tissue, and stimulate blood circulation.

Our practitioners are looking forward to advising you!
